There was something truly special about Jeremy. May it be his contagious laugh, his witty remarks, that beautiful smile that never left his face, or his charisma that brought comfort to everyone around him. But above all, his undeniable sincerity and integrity is what shined the most. Too often, people hide behind a masked facade; those who act only to expect recognintion or rewards, but Jeremy wasnt like most. Never did he exude his kindness towards others anticipating anything in return; it was simply who he was. He always treated those around him with respect and compassion, so much so that it was apparent by the way others would naturally gravitate towards him and soon, fall in love with him.

We often live life with discontentment towards many of the little things in life we consider trivial. But Jeremy lived to appreciate the little things. He immersed his life with love and laughter and surrounded those around him with his infectious, uplifting personality. He set quite an example for many of us to become better people, if only with the simcplicity of a smile.

Jeremy was truly one of a kind; he was the type of friend who we could only hope for. He was loyal, kind, compassionate, and loving. He was all of our biggest fan, always encouraging us to be the best person we each could be. If ever, we are fortunate enough to have another who could grace our lives as he did, let us cherish it and realize that it is yet, another gift from him.

Jeremy will be sorely missed and loved, but never forgotten.

On May 3, 2003, Jeremy became the proud father to Mariah Jade McGraner. Jeremy always had that sparkle in his eyes, but that rare kind of radiance only twinkled each time he spoke of Mariah. From his closest friends to the stranger he met an hour ago, everyone recognized the name Mariah.


Mariah was Jeremy’s pride and joy. His love for her was so incredibly overwhelming as people didn’t have to meet Mariah to fall in love with her themselves; everyone already knew what a special girl she was. Though Jeremy had such an enormous heart to love for so many people, his heart always belonged to Mariah.
